How we use AI
NetProjects uses AI for routine work so that a small team can keep large, data-heavy sites accurate and up to date. People set the rules for what we publish and answer for it.
This page explains how we use AI, where we don't, and how to tell us if we get something wrong.
Who is responsible
NetProjects is a trading name of Internet Projects Ltd (company number 08388036). NetProjects runs sites including GreekMythology.com, Airportia and NetScores. People on our team decide how AI is used and answer for what we publish. Alex Michalas, our founder and director, is responsible overall.
How we use AI
AI helps us draft, check and correct some content and code. People set the rules, can review any change and can roll it back.
- Code. AI coding assistants, such as Cursor and Grok Bot, help write and review code. Code changes are tested before they go live.
- Checking data. AI models, including open models running on our own hardware, help classify records, extract fields and flag likely errors.
- Watching our sites. Assistants watch traffic and site health and flag problems for a person to look at.
- Admin and business work. Assistants with defined jobs help with search (SEO), advertising, reporting, security, invoicing and scheduling. They prepare drafts and reports.
- Writing and illustration. AI helps draft and correct some text, such as articles, social posts and the copy on this site. Some illustrations are made with AI tools.
What AI never does for us
- We don't let AI make up figures, sources or quotes. If a figure is missing, we mark it as unknown rather than guess.
- We don't use AI to churn out pages for search traffic, or to stand in for first-hand data or expertise we don't have.
- Our AI assistants don't send email, post on social media, publish pages, delete anything or spend money without a person's yes, unless a standing rule for that one job allows it.
- We don't use AI to make images that present real places, people, aircraft or events as photographs or as a true record, or alter photographs in ways that misrepresent them.
How we disclose AI use
We don't label individual pages; this page explains how we use AI, and we'll update it as our practices change. The text on netprojects.com was drafted with AI assistance, then edited and approved by a person.
Your data and AI tools
Some of the AI models we use run on our own hardware. Others are cloud services, such as Cursor, Grok Bot and Cloudflare Workers AI. We never use visitors' personal data to train AI models.
Content from others
Some of our sites carry advertising or partner content. That content is produced and controlled by those third parties, who follow their own AI practices.
Tell us when we get something wrong
Things change and sources get updated. If you spot a mistake, email hello@netprojects.com with the page and what's wrong. A person will read it, and we aim to correct errors openly. Our Data & corrections page explains where our data comes from.
Keeping this page current
We review this page every three months, and sooner if the way we use AI changes. The date it last changed is shown below.
